A Dentist for Bramhall

Around fifteen minutes along the A555 to Manchester Road in Wilmslow. Family check ups, cosmetic work and implants under one roof, with our own parking outside.

Croft Dental is at 64 Manchester Road in Wilmslow, around five miles and fifteen minutes from Bramhall by car via the A555 and A34. The practice has served this part of Cheshire since 1974 and offers family dentistry, children's check ups, Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry and implant treatment led by Dr Nikhil Oberai, who holds an MSc in Implant Dentistry from the University of Manchester. A new patient examination is £40 including x-rays, children's examinations are £30, and implant and teeth straightening consultations are free. The practice has its own parking outside.

So, is it worth the drive from Bramhall?

Since the A555 opened, Bramhall to Wilmslow is a quick run, and plenty of families make it.

Some register the whole household with us for everyday care. Others come for one particular treatment and keep their local dentist for the rest. Either is fine, and neither needs explaining.

What tends to bring people here is having everything in one place.

  • Family dentistry:
Check ups for adults and children, with families booked in on the same day so it’s one trip rather than several.
  • Teeth straightening:
Invisalign for adults and teenagers, with free consultations.
  • Cosmetic work:
Composite bonding, whitening, veneers and smile makeovers, led by Dr Natasja Kashyap, who holds a Master’s in Prosthodontics.
  • Implant treatment:
Led by Dr Nikhil Oberai, who holds a Master’s degree in Implant Dentistry from the University of Manchester. That’s several years of postgraduate study devoted entirely to implants, where many dentists placing them have completed a short certificate course.
  • Complex root canal treatment:
Carried out here by Dr Dimitris Mataras, who holds a Master’s degree in Endodontics.
  • Nervous patients:
Longer appointments, plain explanations and all types of sedation from £350.

Getting here from Bramhall

  • By car:
Join the A555 west towards Manchester Airport, then take the A34 south towards Wilmslow and follow Manchester Road into town. We’re on your left. Around fifteen minutes in normal traffic.
  • From Woodford and Bramhall Park:
A little quicker again, depending on where you join the A555.
  • By train:
Bramhall to Wilmslow needs a change, so driving is much easier.
  • Parking:
Our own parking is directly outside the practice on Manchester Road. No time limits and no tickets.
  • If you’re having surgery or sedation:
Please arrange for somebody to drive you home. You shouldn’t drive yourself afterwards.

"Nik and the team were exceptional. I went in for an initial appointment about one missing tooth. Twelve months later I have implants that feel like real teeth."

If you are travelling to us

  • Family appointments:
Tell us who’s coming and we’ll book everybody in together where we can.
  • Longer treatment:
Implants and Invisalign run over several appointments. We’ll plan them to keep the number of trips down where it’s clinically sensible.
  • Timing:
The A555 and A34 are busiest at peak times. Mid morning and early afternoon are the easiest times to travel.
  • Parking is sorted:
Our own spaces are directly outside, so you’re not adding time on the end of the journey.
