Losing a tooth isn’t the end of the world, but when it happens to you, it can often feel that way (especially if it is one of your front teeth). A gappy smile can cause social discomfort, lead to anxiety and can also affect the way that you speak and eat. We are pleased to offer a long term solution of single dental implants, which is often called the next best thing to a natural tooth.

There are a number of different implant solutions available to meet a wide variety of needs, do not hesitate to find out which is best for you by booking your free consultation.

What Are Dental Implants?

A dental implant is a titanium screw that acts as a replacement root for your tooth, and is placed directly into your jawbone (fusing with the bone as it heals). At the time of placement you will be fitted with a temporary restoration, before your final crown/bridge are fitted (after a short healing period). This will give you a nice beautiful natural smile that functions as normal teeth!

Our Single Dental Implant Package Includes:

  • Free Consultation with Dr Oberai

  • All clinical records, x-rays and photographs

  • All pre & post operative medicines (if required)

  • Implant surgery by Dr Oberai & his clinical team (with temporary tooth in place)

  • Review appointments with Dr Oberai

  • Final restoration fitted by Dr Oberai (3-4 months after placement)

Single Dental Implants FAQs

Not at all – it may sound like an invasive procedure but with modern technology it really is a seamless and straightforward process. Our patients do not report any pain when we place implants and for the especially nervous patients we do offer sedation as well.
When replacing a missing tooth we won’t touch the surrounding teeth. To fit a bridge, we need to prepare the adjacent teeth (shaving them down) to secure the bridge in place (which is irreversible damage to the teeth). An implant will also help to maintain and promote healthy bone in the treated area of the jaw.
The placement is usually completed in one and a half hours. The healing period that then follows where the implant integrates with the jawbone can take between 4-6 months. After the healing period the final crown will then be fitted on top.

Yes of course. We offer 0% finance to help break up the cost of treatment. We also accept all major credit cards to pay for the treatment, and have had patients take out longer term 0% interest credit card to pay for treatment (which further breaks up the monthly cost for them).

It is normal to go back to work the day after treatment and you don’t need any special recovery time from the procedure.

If the gap we are filling up is visible when you smile, we will make a temporary restoration to fill the gap during the healing period. We will then remove this temporary and replace with the final restoration.

You may need a bone graft if there isn’t sufficient bone where the implant needs to be placed. But this is nothing to worry about because artificial bone is now available from a packet and is perfectly safe to be used.

This is simply an informal chat so you can get to know us, have a look around the clinic, and we can better understand your situation, and what you are hoping to achieve. There are often many options to meet your needs and we can explore this together!

This is possible. We have treated some lovely patients who would be happy to answer a specific question you may have before you embark on your own treatment.
